First Light on the Cascades
The first light of sunrise glows on the snowy slopes of South Sister, Middle Sister and Broken Top. The summit of South Sister stands at 10,363 ft (3,159 m) while North Sister stands at 10,047 ft (3,062 m). The more eroded Broken Top mountain stands at 9,179 ft (2,798 m).
