After walking two salty miles over boulders under the Nehalem cliffs, a motion caught my eye. “Why is that seagull landing down in those rocks when huge waves are pounding in?” I wondered.
While photographing the crashing waves at this spot, I saw this seagull fly by and land down in these rocks. It must have been looking for food. As these waves rolled in, I had my camera ready. As it took off, I captured this image.
This image captures a moment in the intricate dance of nature. It is a dance that swirls throughout all creation. In the motion of life, humans too look for ways to survive amidst the changing tides.
By capturing the glory of creation, I hope to shine the light of Jesus Christ's presence unto others; the truth that provides a steadfast hope through all the trials that life brings.
